The sounds are from the 8' long stop and include individual notes, half step trills, and whole step trills.

The harpsichord has been around for hundreds of years and has one of the most recognizable sounds out there.

This expansion kit for the NOTION sound library features a 1972 Robert Goble & Son harpsichord as played by John Alley, the principal keyboardist for the London Symphony Orchestra.

With Recording Engineer Jonathan Allen at the helm, and utilizing a range of top-notch recording equipment and mics at the infamous Abbey Road Studio 1, the instruments unique sounds were captured with Alley playing individual notes, half step trills, and whole step trills on the 8' long stop.
